THE SUMMARY

Think Like A Pilot was founded by commercial airline pilots and draws on aviation industry expertise learned since 1903, sharing human factor skills with organisations to directly enhance safety, efficiency and performance. Studies have shown that staff exposed to training based on aviation human factors made 30-50% less technical errors after training.

A new business created by two professionals with an abundance of knowledge to share, ample enthusiasm and in desperate need of a strong identity; Paul and James approached me to create their branding.

 

The Think Like A Pilot team wanted to attract a high-level of clientele, have a premium feel and professional look, and communicate their message clearly. They had a business name but needed an effective logo and full brand suite with assets including sub-mark, fonts, brand colours, website and six 100+ slide PowerPoint design to present their modules. It needed to be eye-catching, engaging, contemporary and bold; and that's what they got.

The creation of their logo stemmed from a simplistic linear design to represent the main components of the Think Like A Pilot name, utilising the aircraft shape within the bulb icon. A stacked and one-line logo was created as well as a sub-mark logo for use across all printed and digital media. Their extensive presentation designs grew from their brand assets and formed a striking suite of publications which supported them in the delivery of their informative modules. 

Printed merchandise from pens, notepads and lanyards enhanced their brand's impact alongside 7ft pop-up banners depicting their services. The bold black and white, subtly representative of their North East origins, with mustard accents, portrayed a confident, premium brand with a cohesive aviation background and invaluable informative delivery.
