During the initial stages of starting her personal training business, Terrimarie wanted a versatile logo to appeal to everyone. It couldn't be too girly or masculine, so as not to box her in to a certain area of fitness as she developed her ideal client base.
We discussed the options of creating various types of logo (in plain English, without the designery jargon to confuse!) and were conscious that including any imagery may put people off or trigger certain preconceived ideas. For example, we didn't want to include any imagery like a dumbbell or weights in the design in case it deterred prospective customers.
After much research and discussion, we kept the colour palette bold and minimal, using black and white to create impact and versatility. This also allowed accent colours to be introduced at a future date when we had more of a clear plan.
"Over two years on and I still absolutely love it! To me, my logo is clean, fresh, professional and 'to the point'. Just how I want my business to appear!
Not only did I want the logo to represent my business, but for it to translate well to social media images, stand out on promotional materials and look smart on my uniform.
Thank you Sam for such a great design and being a dream to work with. I would highly recommend your services to everyone!"
OWNER & PERSONAL TRAINER
FITNESS THAT FITS
Terrimarie's brand has grown since 2018 to specialise in women's fitness. She offers personal training, group exercise classes and fitness plans for busy women, mum and baby - pre and post-natal, yet hasn't felt the need to change her logo.
We have worked together to develop her branding over the years to attract her ideal clientele, and now she works with over XX customers from around the country and has also teamed up with XX other Personal Trainers to deliver an online membership with a plethora of classes covering a wide variety of types of fitness.
I have created pop-up banners, flyers, social media graphics and merchandise for Terrimarie, as well as a sub-brand, TRIBE, which addresses her regular group exercise provision.
